BII Bursary Application Form

 

 

AIM: to provide an opportunity of specific insurance training, through the Bermuda Insurance Institute, for Bermudians, spouses of Bermudians, and PRC holders who have an interest in working in the (re)insurance industry in Bermuda. The completion of the Assoc. in General Insurance (AINS) is considered to be the best starting place. Preference will be given to those looking to start, or continue their studies towards the AINS, but applications from students looking to complete more advanced insurance studies through the Bermuda Insurance Institute will also be considered.

18th Jan. to receive bursaries on/or before Feb. 1st or the 9th Aug. to receive bursaries on/or before Sept. 1st
Application Requirements
(Incomplete applications will not be considered)
Signed copy of completed application form; Proof of Bermudian Status, Spouse of Bermudian or Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) holder; Current résumé; and 400 – 500 word essay stating the reasons why you feel you should be chosen for this award; include information Regarding financial need, why you wish to work in the (re)insurance industry and clearly articulate the perceived Benefits upon completion of the training. Please attach a separate sheet.
