Leading in a crisis is an uncomfortable place for directors. We are dealing with uncertainty. Until recently, if asked, most business leaders would have said that they have not had to deal with a crisis and hoped that they never would. However, for many businesses crisis has become the norm, with Covid-19 having drastic implications on how organisations operate. A crisis is usually a turning point for an organisation, and directors must make critical decisions to ensure that their business can survive and return to some form of business as usual. ~~ This CPD workshop seeks to draw out the characteristics of crisis leadership and provides a practical model which should help directors and the board navigate its way through a crisis whilst still discharging their legal obligations and responsibilities. ~~ Date: 18 February 2021 ~~Time: 11:00am - 1:00pm Atlantic ~~ Location: Virtual Classroom IoD Member Rate: $100.00 ~~ Non-Member Rate: $150.00 ~~~The following is additional information regarding the IoD's cancellation policy.~~ ~~CANCELLATION: Refunds will be granted upon receipt of written (email) notification of cancellation up to 45 days before the course start date. We regret that cancellation requests received ater the specified date cannot be refunded and fees are not transferrable to other courses. ~~~ However, the IoD at its own discretion may review exceptional circumstances and vary this policy on a case by case basis (in which case a minimum $100 cancellation fee would apply). ~~~ Please note that refunds to American Express cards will incur a 4.5% deduction, this represents the non-refundable fee charged to the BII and we regret that this fee must be passed on to registrants. ~~~ COURSE CHANGE REQUESTS - Course change requests occur when the same person transfers from one course to another, subject to availability, and cannot be guaranteed. Course change requests must be made before the cancellation deadline. A minimum transfer fee of $50 will apply. ~~~ NO-SHOWS - 'No-shows' are registrants who do not attend the seminar for which they are registered. No refund- credit, partial or full will be given to No-shows, regardless of the method of payment.
