This 2 day course focuses on the role, duties and legal responsibilities of a director and the workings of a board. It also examines crucial differences between management, direction and ownership and offers guidance on improving board effectiveness. This is the key governance course for all directors!

A light breakfast, mid-morning and afternoon refreshments and lunch will be served each day.

Course materials will be distributed to registrants at the beginning and throughout the 2 day course.
Refunds will be granted upon receipt of written (email) notification of cancellation up to the cancellation deadline is 30 working days before the start of the course . We regret that cancellation requests received after the specified date cannot be refunded. However, the IoD at its own discretion may review exceptional circumstances and vary this policy on a case by case basis (in which case a minimum $100 cancellation fee would apply).
Please note that refunds to American Express cards will incur a 4.5% deduction, this represents the non-refundable fee charged to the BII and we regret that this fee must be passed on to registrants.
Course change requests:
Course change requests occur when the same person transfers from one seminar to another, subject to availability, and cannot be guaranteed. Course change requests must be made before the cancellation deadline. A minimum transfer fee of $50 will apply.
'No-shows' are registrants who do not attend the seminar for which they are registered. No refund- credit, partial or full will be given to No-shows, regardless of the method of payment.
